PROTOTYPES & DEVELOPMENT
FROM THE FIRST IDEA TO A FUNCTIONAL PART
Additive manufacturing makes it possible to turn ideas and digital designs into physical parts quickly and flexibly.
CIPRES supports you in the development of prototypes, functional samples and test parts – from the first component to an application-ready solution.
Whether you want to evaluate a new design, test a function or prepare a product for series production, we help you select the appropriate material, manufacturing process and finishing solution.
PROTOTYPES FOR REAL-WORLD TESTING
A prototype should do more than demonstrate a shape.
Depending on your requirements, additive manufacturing allows you to evaluate:
Geometry · Fit · Function · Assembly · Material · Surface · Color
This makes it possible to identify improvements early in the development process before moving on to series production.
FROM THE PRINTED PART TO THE FINISHED PROTOTYPE
At CIPRES, the process does not have to end after 3D printing.
Depending on your requirements, we can combine additive manufacturing with our post-processing, coloring and finishing technologies to create prototypes that are much closer to the intended final product.
That is especially useful when appearance, surface quality or color are already important during development.
DEVELOPMENT & TESTING
Not every project follows a standard process.
For special requirements, CIPRES can support material tests, color trials, finishing tests and application-specific process development.
This allows different solutions to be evaluated before defining the final production process.
READY FOR THE NEXT STEP?
Once the prototype has been successfully tested, CIPRES can support the transition to small batches and series production.
The same manufacturing and finishing processes can be considered from the beginning, helping to create a consistent path from development to production.
