UV PROTECTION
PROTECTION AGAINST LIGHT-INDUCED AGING
Additively manufactured polyamide parts can be affected by prolonged exposure to UV radiation and strong light. This may lead to fading, yellowing or other visible changes over time.
UV protection helps to improve the light and weather resistance of the component and is particularly recommended for parts used outdoors or exposed to strong light.
For white components, UV protection is especially important to reduce visible yellowing. Colored parts can also benefit from additional UV protection.
