PA12 AS | STANDARD POLYAMIDE 12
The versatile all-rounder
PA12 is a proven material for additive manufacturing and is suitable for a wide range of technical applications. It combines good mechanical properties with dimensional stability and excellent options for post-processing.
Typical applications:
Functional parts · Prototypes · Small series · Eyewear · Technical components
PA12 CS | CERAMIC-REINFORCED POLYAMIDE 12
For increased stiffness and dimensional stability
PA12 CS is a ceramic-reinforced polyamide 12 designed for parts with increased requirements for stiffness and dimensional stability. It is particularly suitable for technical and functional applications where low deformation is required.
Typical applications:
Technical components · Functional parts · Housings · Fixtures · Dimensionally stable components
PA11 | POLYAMIDE 11
Flexible and impact-resistant
PA11 combines flexibility, high elongation and excellent impact resistance. It is particularly suitable for functional parts that need to withstand mechanical stress while remaining flexible.
PA11 is based on renewable raw materials and is produced from castor oil.
Typical applications:
Flexible functional parts · Living hinges · Eyewear · Technical components · Customized products
TPU | THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE
Flexible and elastic
TPU is an elastic material for applications requiring flexibility and deformation. Its rubber-like properties make it particularly suitable for parts designed to flex, absorb impact or adapt to their environment.
Typical applications:
Seals · Damping elements · Flexible components · Protective elements · Customized applications
WHICH MATERIAL IS RIGHT FOR YOUR PART?
Not every material is suitable for every application. Mechanical loads, flexibility, temperature, chemical exposure, surface requirements and subsequent finishing processes can all play an important role in material selection.
We will be happy to help you find the right combination of material, manufacturing process and post-processing for your application.
MATERIAL AND SURFACE – DESIGNED TO WORK TOGETHER
Material selection not only affects the mechanical properties of a part, but also determines the available post-processing options.
CIPRES offers a range of surface finishing and coloring processes. This allows additively manufactured parts to be tailored to specific functional and visual requirements after production.
