OUR FINISHING PROCESSES
SURFACE EQUALIZATION
Surface equalization is used to clean and prepare additively manufactured parts and provides a more uniform surface.
It can also serve as preparation for subsequent finishing processes.
TUMBLING
Tumbling reduces the surface roughness of additively manufactured parts and creates a smoother, more uniform surface.
Depending on the component and desired result, the process can also be used as preparation for subsequent dyeing or finishing processes.
DYEING | e-coloring
Professional dyeing gives suitable additively manufactured polymer parts a uniform color appearance.
In addition to standard colors, CIPRES can develop individual color solutions for specific applications and customer requirements.
CHEMICAL SMOOTHING
Chemical smoothing can significantly reduce the surface roughness of suitable additively manufactured components.
The process creates a smoother and more homogeneous surface and can also modify specific surface characteristics.
INFILTRATION
Infiltration can be used to seal suitable additively manufactured components and modify specific surface properties.

UV PROTECTION
Additional UV treatment can help maintain the visual appearance of suitable components when exposed to UV radiation.

OPTICAL BRIGHTENING
Optical brighteners can be used for suitable white components to counteract visible yellowing and improve their visual appearance.
PAINTING
